Individuals seeking to be registered as Adjudicators must hold an appropriate adjudication qualification under Section 60 of the Act, as a condition of registration.
As from 1 October 2004, individuals seeking to be registered as Adjudicators must hold a formal adjudication qualification, as prescribed by the Building and Construction Industry Payments Amendment Regulation (No.1) 2004 (the "amendment regulation").
The name of this adjudication qualification is the "Certificate in Adjudication" and may be obtained by successfully undertaking a training course and completing the assessment conducted by an approved training organisation, named as a body (which may issue the qualification) prescribed by the amendment regulation.
